Like I said, I am not an authority but I just love mine. Crank it up and you will experience an earthquake in you living room, but try not to do it when the neighbors are home. I took the 10" back and purchased the 12", so I speak for it only. I am not an authority on sound systems, but I can tell you that I am very happy with mine.
I've only turned up half way and my whole living floor and windows rattle during bass response. I was surprised by the deep, noniseless bass produced by the sub. It has a lot of amplifier range. This is the best sub I've ever owned. I highly recommend this sub10. I did not regret spending $400 on the sub10. I've wasted a lot of money buying cheap quality subs before, but this time I decided to go for something better in quality, Klipse. The sub really kicks.
First class. Great bass, Great price, Fast delivery. Bigger than I thought it would be.
This sub has the connectivity and features of a way more expensive sub for a pretty reasonable price, I am very happy with it so far and I have barely turned up the bass, A+ product.
I debated getting the Klipsch SUB-12 but unless you are putting it in a huge room the SUB-10 is more than enough. I like loud sub sound but when it rattles the walls even during the commercials it can get old.
It sits to the left of my TV but you wouldn't be able to point to the sound source if you couldn't see it sitting there. Also, the fullness of the sound is great.
Amazing sound and Power. Up much higher and it never shuts up.
It's not a small piece of equipment so make sure you note the dimensions. I wouldn't buy this for an apartment or townhouse unless you like making people angry.
I have it in a 13 ft by 25 ft room and it's set at maybe 30% if you consider the dial on the back and the adjustment on my receiver.
